We strive to teach and inspire a positive environment for people of all ages. While also improving cardio fitness, reducing stress, and keeping your mind active through soul line dancing.

Our vision is to encourage health and fitness throughout the Tampa Bay Area by teaching Soul line dance for many people within our city and beyond.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Our focus as a non-profit organization is to encourage health and fitness through the teaching of Soul Line Dancing. Often times certain groups of participants are faced with limitations for dance class opportunities. We make classes convenient and accessible to everyone by providing classes at local recreational centers and apartment amenities.
Soul line Dancing in general is an outlet for emotional expression and stress reduction. The endorphin boosts from the exercise, the social interaction, and the required concentration lifts the spirit.
LEISURE ACTIVITES AND THE RISK OF DEMENTIA - THE STUDY
This is a summary of the 21-year study and where they focused their effort. Keep reading for a crazy finding related to line dancing!
Cognitive Activities Studied:
• Reading books
• Writing for pleasure
• Doing crossword puzzles
• Playing cards
• Playing musical instruments
Physical Activities Studied:
• Playing tennis
• Golf
• Swimming
• Bicycling
• Dancing
• Walking
• Housework
The physical activities, of course, all provided cardiovascular benefits but really offered no protection against dementia. But there was one surprising exception: the one physical activity that did reduce the occurrence of dementia was frequent dancing! Here are the findings:
